Concrete Staircase

At Shalvey Public School, we delivered a design and construct project that improved safety and accessibility across the campus. Works included the removal of an existing ramp and the construction of a new concrete stair with a reinforced block retaining wall. The stair was finished with hot-dip galvanised handrails, tactile indicators, non-slip nosings, and high-visibility paint to ensure full compliance with EFSG requirements. Additional works included adjustments to artificial turf, timber edging, and security screening to covered walkways and fencing. The project provided a safe, durable, and compliant upgrade to key outdoor circulation areas.
