Retaining Wall

At Rozelle Public School, we completed the construction of a new 50m retaining wall along the Wellington Street frontage to improve safety and site stability. Works involved service checks, soil sampling, traffic control, and demolition of the existing retaining wall and footings. A new reinforced blockwork and brick retaining wall was constructed with concrete footings, waterproofing, drainage, and core-filled blockwork, finished with a brick skin to match the school’s existing aesthetic. We reinstated planter boxes, fencing, and landscaping, and completed a full site clean-up. The project delivered a durable, compliant, and visually integrated retaining wall that enhanced both safety and appearance of the school frontage.
