Slate Roof Replacement

At North Sydney Girls High School, we carried out a full roof replacement to address extensive deterioration and ongoing leaks. Works included the safe removal and disposal of existing slate tiles, metal roofing, gutters, flashings, and battens, followed by installation of new Canadian Glendyne slate, Colorbond Custom Orb and Kliplok roofing, and copper seam roofing in specialised areas. The project also delivered new gutters, downpipes, timber eaves, rafters, and barge boards, along with lead ridge capping, flashings, and chimney strengthening works. Insulation, safety mesh, and scaffolding were installed to meet compliance standards, ensuring a durable, watertight, and high-quality roofing system that preserved the school’s heritage character.
