Science Lab Renovation

At Chifley College Shalvey Campus, we refurbished Science Lab Room 1R2013 to create a modern, safe, and fully compliant learning environment. Works included the safe removal and disposal of hazardous vinyl flooring under hygienist supervision, followed by installation of new vinyl with coved edges. We constructed a new false wall with access panels for services, installed tiled splashbacks, pinboards, and repainted surfaces. The refurbishment also delivered eight new lab stations with marine-grade sinks, acid-resistant benchtops, a washing station, and upgraded GPOs. Additional joinery upgrades were completed in the adjoining prep room and chemical/dark room, including new cabinetry, shelving, and benchtops. The project provided students and staff with a durable, functional, and compliant science facility that matches the standards of adjacent labs.
